As a guest at the hotel, the convenience of having the restaurant on the doorstep is not the only good reason to try The Bru. Head Chef, Justin Kett, who spent time cooking and working abroad before settling at the Michelin starred Castle Hotel at Taunton, has returned to his Suffolk roots. Justin's style is simple and unpretentious and he is passionate about cooking with fresh seasonal produce, which he sources from carefully selected local suppliers. A must is his delicious fresh fish and seafood dishes, as well as Game during the Winter months.

Flexible and informal, the restaurant is light and airy and can cater for large family parties, as well as smaller groups and intimate tables for two. Meet with friends and other hotel guests for pre-dinner drinks in the Bar where Katerina, our Restaurant Manager, will tempt you with our extensive wine list while you try to choose from our inspired menu.

On a sunny day, there’s nothing nicer than dining outside on The Terrace, just a pebble's throw from the beach, where you can enjoy fantastic views up and down the coastline.

Opening Times:
Lunch: 12.00pm - 2.00pm
Sunday Lunch: 12.00pm - 3.00pm
Dinner: 6.00pm - 9.00pm
